# TouchChat Discover vs Wedge

The clearest difference is rating: Wedge at 5.0 against TouchChat Discover's 3.8. Wedge also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months). TouchChat Discover's advantage is ratings volume (102 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TouchChat Discover sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Wedge sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wedge holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TouchChat Discover has 102 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TouchChat Discover ships an update every 2 months, Wedge every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
