# Icon Skins Maker vs Widgets Pro

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Icon Skins Maker at 87% against Widgets Pro's 25%. Icon Skins Maker also leads on ratings volume (253 vs 17) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 11.0). Widgets Pro's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and rating (4.0 vs 3.8). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Icon Skins Maker sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Widgets Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.

Widgets Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Icon Skins Maker has 253 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Icon Skins Maker's written reviews are positive against 25% of Widgets Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Icon Skins Maker ships an update every 2 months, Widgets Pro monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
