# DIVER MAGAZINE vs Dive Plan

The clearest difference is rating: DIVER MAGAZINE at 4.3 against Dive Plan's 1.8. DIVER MAGAZINE also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.0). Dive Plan's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DIVER MAGAZINE sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Dive Plan sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DIVER MAGAZINE holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 8 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 37% and 37% positive.

DIVER MAGAZINE ships an update every 5 months, Dive Plan monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
