# Rainbow Sentences vs Word Vault Pro

The clearest difference is price: Rainbow Sentences at $9.99 against Word Vault Pro's $49.99. Rainbow Sentences also leads on review sentiment (94% vs 50%). Word Vault Pro's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.7) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 months). On ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Rainbow Sentences costs $9.99 and Word Vault Pro $49.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Word Vault Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Word Vault Pro has 458 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of Rainbow Sentences's written reviews are positive against 50% of Word Vault Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rainbow Sentences ships an update every 6 months, Word Vault Pro fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
