# @Flash vs Super Flashlight

The clearest difference is price: @Flash at Free against Super Flashlight's $3.99. @Flash also leads on rating (4.8 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (100 vs 3). Super Flashlight's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 months). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

@Flash is free to download; Super Flashlight costs $3.99 up front. @Flash sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Super Flashlight asks for nothing beyond the download.

@Flash holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: @Flash has 100 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of @Flash's written reviews are positive against 100% of Super Flashlight's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

@Flash ships an update every 3 months, Super Flashlight every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
