# Elevation App vs Mile

The clearest difference is ads: Elevation App at none against Mile's shown. Elevation App also leads on review sentiment (58% vs 44%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Mile's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Elevation App against 4.4 for Mile. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Elevation App has 492 ratings behind it against 69, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 58% of Elevation App's written reviews are positive against 44% of Mile's.

Elevation App ships an update monthly, Mile weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
