# Reversi. vs Reversi⁞

The clearest difference is monetization model: Reversi⁞ at free against Reversi.'s free with in-app purchases. Reversi⁞ also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (100% vs 86%). Reversi.'s advantage is ratings volume (2.2K vs 5) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 14.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Reversi⁞ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reversi. has 2.2K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 86% of Reversi.'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Reversi⁞'s.

Reversi. ships an update every 8 months, Reversi⁞ every 15 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
