# BERSHKA vs Hoopla

The clearest difference is ads: Hoopla at none against BERSHKA's shown. Hoopla also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). BERSHKA's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BERSHKA ships an update weekly, Hoopla every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
