# TicketGenie vs Tickets For Less

The clearest difference is rating: Tickets For Less at 3.4 against TicketGenie's 1.0. Tickets For Less also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 22 months) and ratings volume (35 vs 2). TicketGenie's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Tickets For Less holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tickets For Less has 35 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of TicketGenie's written reviews are positive against 50% of Tickets For Less's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TicketGenie ships an update every 22 months, Tickets For Less every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
