# YY vs 爱聊

The clearest difference is rating: YY at 4.6 against 爱聊's 2.8. YY also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.6K vs 100). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YY sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and 爱聊 sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

YY holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YY has 1.6K ratings behind it against 100, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 66% and 66% positive.

YY ships an update every 4 weeks, 爱聊 every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
