# YY vs 道言

The clearest difference is rating: YY at 4.6 against 道言's 3.7. YY also leads on update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (1.6K vs 3). 道言's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YY sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. 道言 asks for nothing beyond the download.
