# mySunMoon vs Aluna

The clearest difference is update cadence: Aluna at every 4 days against mySunMoon's every 3 months. mySunMoon's advantage is device support (5 vs 2) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. mySunMoon sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Aluna sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

mySunMoon ships an update every 3 months, Aluna every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
