# CLEP vs DegreeForum

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DegreeForum at none against CLEP's 1. DegreeForum also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). CLEP's advantage is ratings volume (51 vs 10). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CLEP sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. DegreeForum asks for nothing beyond the download.

DegreeForum holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CLEP has 51 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two.
