# GRE vs GRE Peanut

The clearest difference is ads: GRE at none against GRE Peanut's shown. GRE also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). GRE Peanut's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 months). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GRE sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and GRE Peanut sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GRE ships an update every 6 months, GRE Peanut weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
