# GRE vs MindScore IQ Test

The clearest difference is ads: GRE at none against MindScore IQ Test's shown. GRE also leads on ratings volume (174 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). MindScore IQ Test's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 6 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GRE sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and MindScore IQ Test sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for GRE against 5.0 for MindScore IQ Test. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GRE has 174 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GRE ships an update every 6 months, MindScore IQ Test every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
