# GRE vs Math Prep for GRE

The clearest difference is ads: GRE at none against Math Prep for GRE's shown. GRE also leads on ratings volume (174 vs 3) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). Math Prep for GRE's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GRE sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and Math Prep for GRE sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
