# RandALL vs TierMaker.com

The clearest difference is review sentiment: RandALL at 65% against TierMaker.com's 8%. RandALL also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.2). TierMaker.com's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RandALL sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per year and TierMaker.com sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RandALL holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TierMaker.com has 1.6K ratings behind it against 72, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 65% of RandALL's written reviews are positive against 8% of TierMaker.com's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
