# RandALL vs VidAngel

The clearest difference is ads: VidAngel at none against RandALL's shown. VidAngel also leads on ratings volume (5.7K vs 72) and chart position (#70 vs unranked). RandALL's advantage is review sentiment (63% vs 54%). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RandALL sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per 7 days and VidAngel sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for RandALL against 4.9 for VidAngel. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VidAngel has 5.7K ratings behind it against 72, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 63% of RandALL's written reviews are positive against 54% of VidAngel's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
