# Guidebook vs JCC Maccabi®

The clearest difference is review sentiment: JCC Maccabi® at 100% against Guidebook's 52%. Guidebook's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (3.7K vs 7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Guidebook holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Guidebook has 3.7K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Guidebook's written reviews are positive against 100% of JCC Maccabi®'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Guidebook ships an update every 2 weeks, JCC Maccabi® every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
