# Pinterest vs Aion

The clearest difference is ads: Aion at none against Pinterest's shown. Pinterest's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 months) and chart position (#2 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pinterest sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Aion sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
