# Pinterest vs Aussie Start

The clearest difference is ads: Aussie Start at none against Pinterest's shown. Aussie Start also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). Pinterest's advantage is chart position (#1 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pinterest sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Aussie Start sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pinterest ships an update weekly, Aussie Start every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
