# Backyard Pilot vs Flying Moto Pilot Simulator

The clearest difference is rating: Flying Moto Pilot Simulator at 4.6 against Backyard Pilot's 3.9. Flying Moto Pilot Simulator also leads on ratings volume (8K vs 645). Backyard Pilot's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (4.3 vs 10.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Backyard Pilot sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Flying Moto Pilot Simulator sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flying Moto Pilot Simulator holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flying Moto Pilot Simulator has 8K ratings behind it against 645, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Backyard Pilot's written reviews are positive against 68% of Flying Moto Pilot Simulator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Backyard Pilot ships an update every 11 months, Flying Moto Pilot Simulator every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
