# Best Flash Light vs Flashly

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Best Flash Light at 47K against Flashly's 1. Flashly's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Best Flash Light sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Flashly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flashly holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Best Flash Light has 47K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Best Flash Light ships an update every 2 months, Flashly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
