# Weekendavisen e vs FDM

The clearest difference is update cadence: FDM at every 4 months against Weekendavisen e's every 11 months. FDM also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Weekendavisen e sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $79.99 per 3 months and FDM sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Weekendavisen e ships an update every 11 months, FDM every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
