# The Globe and Mail vs Veracity

The clearest difference is ads: Veracity at none against The Globe and Mail's shown. Veracity also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). The Globe and Mail's advantage is ratings volume (3K vs 2) and chart position (#70 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Globe and Mail sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month and Veracity sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Veracity holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Globe and Mail has 3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

The Globe and Mail ships an update fortnightly, Veracity every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
