# RCS Remote vs RevText

The clearest difference is update cadence: RevText at every 2 weeks against RCS Remote's every 5 months. RevText also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 1). RCS Remote's advantage is iOS requirement (12.2 vs 26.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for RCS Remote against 5.0 for RevText. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RevText has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

RCS Remote ships an update every 5 months, RevText every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
