# Grimper vs Vertika

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Vertika at 100% against Grimper's 57%. Vertika also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 9 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Grimper sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per year and Vertika sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
