# MLS vs TopSky ON

MLS and TopSky ON both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of TopSky ON's written reviews are positive against 45% of MLS's. MLS's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 10) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for MLS against 5.0 for TopSky ON. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MLS has 13K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 45% of MLS's written reviews are positive against 100% of TopSky ON's.

MLS ships an update every 3 weeks, TopSky ON every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
