# 9000+ Wallpapers vs Pattern Art

The clearest difference is monetization model: Pattern Art at free with in-app purchases against 9000+ Wallpapers's subscription. Pattern Art also leads on review sentiment (76% vs 44%) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 9000+ Wallpapers sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month and Pattern Art sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

9000+ Wallpapers holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1K and 1.6K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of 9000+ Wallpapers's written reviews are positive against 76% of Pattern Art's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

9000+ Wallpapers ships an update monthly, Pattern Art weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
