# 9000+ Wallpapers vs Widget skins 17

The clearest difference is rating: 9000+ Wallpapers at 4.6 against Widget skins 17's 3.4. 9000+ Wallpapers also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1K vs 66). Widget skins 17's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (87% vs 50%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 9000+ Wallpapers sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month and Widget skins 17 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 9000+ Wallpapers has 1K ratings behind it against 66, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of 9000+ Wallpapers's written reviews are positive against 87% of Widget skins 17's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

9000+ Wallpapers ships an update monthly, Widget skins 17 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
