# Patch vs Greater LI

The clearest difference is ads: Greater LI at none against Patch's shown. Greater LI also leads on review sentiment (75% vs 59%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Patch's advantage is ratings volume (27K vs 24) and chart position (#143 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Patch against 4.6 for Greater LI. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Patch has 27K ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 59% of Patch's written reviews are positive against 75% of Greater LI's.

Patch ships an update every 2 months, Greater LI every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
