# Ski Dice vs Ikon Pass

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ski Dice at 78% against Ikon Pass's 14%. Ski Dice also leads on chart position (#27 vs #208) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.5). Ikon Pass's advantage is price (Free vs $2.99) and rating (4.7 vs 4.0). On ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Ikon Pass is free to download; Ski Dice costs $2.99 up front. Ski Dice sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Ikon Pass asks for nothing beyond the download.

Ikon Pass holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ikon Pass has 28K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Ski Dice's written reviews are positive against 14% of Ikon Pass's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ski Dice ships an update every 4 weeks, Ikon Pass every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
