# Ski Dice vs Snowbird Resort

The clearest difference is price: Snowbird Resort at Free against Ski Dice's $2.99. Snowbird Resort also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (118 vs 1). Ski Dice's advantage is review sentiment (79% vs 56%) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). On ads, monetization model, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Snowbird Resort is free to download; Ski Dice costs $2.99 up front. Ski Dice sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Snowbird Resort asks for nothing beyond the download.

Snowbird Resort holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Snowbird Resort has 118 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Ski Dice's written reviews are positive against 56% of Snowbird Resort's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ski Dice ships an update every 4 weeks, Snowbird Resort every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
