# Menards® vs Dillons

The clearest difference is ads: Menards® at none against Dillons's shown. Menards® also leads on review sentiment (52% vs 19%) and chart position (#166 vs unranked). Dillons's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Menards® against 4.7 for Dillons. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Menards® has 221K ratings behind it against 36K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 52% of Menards®'s written reviews are positive against 19% of Dillons's.

Menards® ships an update every 3 weeks, Dillons weekly. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
