# Menards® vs Pay Less

The clearest difference is ads: Menards® at none against Pay Less's shown. Menards® also leads on ratings volume (221K vs 7.8K) and chart position (#180 vs unranked). Pay Less's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Menards® against 4.8 for Pay Less. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Menards® has 221K ratings behind it against 7.8K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 52% of Menards®'s written reviews are positive against 49% of Pay Less's.
