# SKY TV GUIDE vs TV Show Tracker Pro

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TV Show Tracker Pro at 80% against SKY TV GUIDE's 6%. TV Show Tracker Pro also leads on ratings volume (166 vs 2). SKY TV GUIDE's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TV Show Tracker Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. SKY TV GUIDE asks for nothing beyond the download.

SKY TV GUIDE holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TV Show Tracker Pro has 166 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 6% of SKY TV GUIDE's written reviews are positive against 80% of TV Show Tracker Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
