# Phone Drive Pro vs FileHub

The clearest difference is price: FileHub at Free against Phone Drive Pro's $4.99. Phone Drive Pro's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months). On in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

FileHub is free to download; Phone Drive Pro costs $4.99 up front. Phone Drive Pro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and FileHub sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Phone Drive Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Phone Drive Pro has 2.3K ratings behind it against 149, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 77% of Phone Drive Pro's written reviews are positive against 51% of FileHub's.

Phone Drive Pro ships an update fortnightly, FileHub every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
