# Remote Mouse for iPad vs btkbd

The clearest difference is review sentiment: btkbd at 71% against Remote Mouse for iPad's 42%. btkbd also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Remote Mouse for iPad's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (277 vs 13). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Remote Mouse for iPad sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and btkbd sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Remote Mouse for iPad holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Remote Mouse for iPad has 277 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Remote Mouse for iPad's written reviews are positive against 71% of btkbd's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Remote Mouse for iPad ships an update every 2 months, btkbd fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
