# 青岛新闻 vs 爱山东

The clearest difference is rating: 青岛新闻 at 2.7 against 爱山东's 1.7. 爱山东's advantage is ratings volume (46 vs 3) and chart position (#196 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

青岛新闻 holds the better App Store score, 2.7 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 爱山东 has 46 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of 青岛新闻's written reviews are positive against 9% of 爱山东's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

青岛新闻 ships an update every 2 months, 爱山东 every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
