# Mango IRC vs status.log

Mango IRC and status.log both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of status.log's written reviews are positive against 25% of Mango IRC's. status.log also leads on price ($2.99 vs $12.99) and ratings volume (14 vs 1). Mango IRC's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 4 months). On rating, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Mango IRC costs $12.99 and status.log $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Mango IRC against 5.0 for status.log.
