# 7 Little Words and More vs Missing Link

The clearest difference is ads: Missing Link at none against 7 Little Words and More's shown. Missing Link also leads on review sentiment (92% vs 65%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.7). 7 Little Words and More's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 75 months) and ratings volume (172K vs 345). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 7 Little Words and More sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Missing Link sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

7 Little Words and More holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 7 Little Words and More has 172K ratings behind it against 345, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of 7 Little Words and More's written reviews are positive against 92% of Missing Link's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

7 Little Words and More ships an update weekly, Missing Link every 75 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
