# Rage Comics vs Flip Clip App

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Rage Comics at 83% against Flip Clip App's 20%. Rage Comics also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (65 vs 14). Flip Clip App's advantage is rating (3.9 vs 3.5) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flip Clip App sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Rage Comics asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flip Clip App holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 65 and 14 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Rage Comics's written reviews are positive against 20% of Flip Clip App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rage Comics ships an update monthly, Flip Clip App weekly. The most recent releases landed on July 8, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
