# La Poste vs 2D

The clearest difference is rating: La Poste at 4.0 against 2D's 2.3. La Poste also leads on ratings volume (115 vs 3) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). 2D's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

La Poste holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: La Poste has 115 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of La Poste's written reviews are positive against 30% of 2D's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

La Poste ships an update every 5 weeks, 2D every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
