# Vertical vs onecrag

The clearest difference is monetization model: onecrag at free with in-app purchases against Vertical's subscription. onecrag also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 10 months) and review sentiment (80% vs 53%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vertical sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year and onecrag sells 34 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vertical ships an update every 10 months, onecrag every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
