# Evite vs Pro Party Planner

The clearest difference is monetization model: Evite at free with in-app purchases against Pro Party Planner's subscription. Evite also leads on ratings volume (517K vs 2) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). Pro Party Planner's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Evite sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $79.99 per 3 months and Pro Party Planner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pro Party Planner holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Evite has 517K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 47% and 47% positive.

Evite ships an update every 2 weeks, Pro Party Planner fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
