# Roblox vs Pokémon Masters EX

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Roblox at 21M against Pokémon Masters EX's 219K. Roblox also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks) and chart position (#1 vs #11). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Roblox sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Pokémon Masters EX sells 48 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pokémon Masters EX holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Roblox has 21M ratings behind it against 219K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 60% of Roblox's written reviews are positive against 63% of Pokémon Masters EX's.

Roblox ships an update every 6 days, Pokémon Masters EX every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
