# Roblox vs Spider

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Spider at none against Roblox's 4. Spider also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). Roblox's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (21M vs 1.2K). On price, rating, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Roblox sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Spider asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Roblox against 4.4 for Spider. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Roblox has 21M ratings behind it against 1.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 60% of Roblox's written reviews are positive against 57% of Spider's.
