# 知乎 vs Classic

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Classic at 83% against 知乎's 16%. Classic also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and ads (none vs shown). 知乎's advantage is ratings volume (26K vs 1) and chart position (#132 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 知乎 sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Classic sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Classic holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 知乎 has 26K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 16% of 知乎's written reviews are positive against 83% of Classic's.

知乎 ships an update weekly, Classic fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
