# VOM App vs M28

The clearest difference is update cadence: VOM App at every 5 months against M28's every 29 months. VOM App also leads on ratings volume (4.4K vs 61). M28's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for VOM App against 4.9 for M28. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VOM App has 4.4K ratings behind it against 61, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 95% of VOM App's written reviews are positive against 100% of M28's.
