# VOM App vs LWML

The clearest difference is rating: VOM App at 4.9 against LWML's 4.4. VOM App also leads on ratings volume (4.4K vs 8). LWML's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

VOM App holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VOM App has 4.4K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 95% of VOM App's written reviews are positive against 100% of LWML's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VOM App ships an update every 5 months, LWML every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
